Mequon, Wi. – The Dominican University Women's Soccer team hits the road for the first time in 11 days for a conference battle against the Falcons of Concordia Wisconsin, on Wednesday afternoon.

Series History vs. Concordia Wisconsin:
All-Time Record/Streak/: 12-15-2/W2
-The first time these two schools played was on September 15^th, 2004, at West Campus Field, in a match where the Falcons won 3-0.
-The Stars were 0-3 against CUW before earning their first win on 9/12/2007.
-Last season Dominican and Concordia Wisconsin played twice, both times at West Campus Field with the Stars winning both. The second match was the quarterfinal match in the NACC conference tournament.
-DUWSOC is 6-3-1 in their last 10 matches against the Falcons.
-The Stars hold a 4-8-1 record at CUW.
-Dominican has scored 46 goals against Concordia Wis. and averages 1.59 goals per match.
-Last time DUWSOC won at CUW was on 10/21/2023 in a 3-1 victory. The Stars' last lost on the road was 10/26/2019, to the score of 0-5.

DU in Review: 
-Dominican women's soccer is 5-2-2 on the season so far. The Stars are also 3-1 inside the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
-Last season the Stars went 12-6-1 overall on the season while holding a 9-3 conference record. 
-DU did not play a neutral site match last season but did go 6-4 on the road. 
-Dominican's season came to an end in the NACC conference tournament semifinals when they matched up with Illinois Tech. 
-The Stars held a 6-match win streak last season from the dates of September 20th to October 11th. 

Familiar Faces: 
-Graduate Student Sierra Rioux is back in a Stars uniform and is ready to be a veteran impact on this young DU squad. Rioux comes back after an incredible senior season. The Naperville native scored 4 goals and earned 6 assists in her 19 games started last season. She also recorded 42 shots, with 19 of those on target. 
-Senior Meghan Wilhite will be back on the pitch this season after a 7-goal junior season that included a hat-trick at Wisconsin Lutheran. Wilhite also collected 2 assists and 36 shots, with 16 of those on target. The Las Vegas native played in 18 matches, while starting in 6. 
-Senior Mackenzie Cuddihy has been a staple on the back line of the Stars and will continue that role in her senior campaign. Cuddihy last year found the back of the net twice, including a bar-down shot from 40 yards out on homecoming last season. Mackenize played in 1420 minutes last season. 
-Junior Ariana Barney is ready to continue her success in a Stars uniform this upcoming season. Barney battled through some injuries in her sophomore year but still played in 15 matches with 2 assists and 5 shots on goal. 
-Junior Tia Garr has been a force in the midfield in her first two years and is looking to continue that success in year three. Garr is coming off a season where she played 19 matches and started 18 of those. Garr scored 2 goals on 26 shots, with 15 shots being on target. 
-Sophomore MK Kluesner had a great freshman year and is ready to continue to grow on the back line for Dominican. Kluesner started in 18 matches last season with 1541 minutes while earning an assist. 
-Junior Gianna Stanek will be back in net this upcoming season after her first season with DU. Stanek played in 15 matches and started in 14 of those matches. Stanek recorded 66 saves on the year and held a 9-6 record between the posts. Gianna had four matches last season where she made over 6 saves, including a 9-save match against Illinois Wesleyan that led DU to a 1-0 victory on the road. 
 
Last Time Out: 
-Dominican put on a performance on Homecoming Saturday, winning 4-0 over the Green Knights of St. Norbert.
-Junior Tia Garr earned Co-Star of the Match with 1 goal on 4 shots. Garr also recorded 64 minutes.
-Freshman Payton Lemich also earned Co-Star of the Match, recording 68 minutes and 3 shots.
-Senior Meghan Wilhite continues to lead offensively, Wilhite had a goal and 3 shots, with 2 of those being on target.
-Freshman Riley Brooks recorded her first collegiate goal in the win.  
-Freshman Khloe Lopez has kept the momentum going and found the back of the net for her second goal of the week.
-Junior Ariana Barney had 1 shot, with it being on target.
-Junior Ava Anderson came off the bench and picked up a shot on target.

Shining Stars:
-Senior Meghan Wilhite currently leads her team in goals with 6, continuing her impact as a Senior on this young team. Wilhite has 2 assists with 22 shots, with 12 of those being on target.
-Senior Mackenzie Cuddihy has been a rock for her team, recording 714 minutes, which leads her team. Cuddihy has notched a goal while firing 9 shots.
-Graduate Student Sierra Rioux is showing her experience having 12 shots with 9 of those on target. Rioux also collected 3 assists.
-Freshman Kaylie Reeve is making quite an impact right off the gate, the freshman has 2 goals on 12 shots with 8 shots on target. Reeve has recorded 644 minutes, which is the second most on the team.
-Junior Tia Garr picked up where she left off last season, Garr scored 2 goals on 15 shots.
-Junior Presley Coles is on a comeback after being injured last season, collecting 2 assists.
-Junior Gianna Stanek has started 6 matches in the net, allowing only 2 goals, and has made 15 saves.
-Freshman Sarah Appleby has come up big for her team with 13 saves and 3 goals allowed.
-Freshman Khloe Lopez has made a statement on this team, with 3 goals being second in the goals scored category. Lopez played 74 minutes this season and has 5 shots on target with an assist.
-Freshman Grace Durante has made an impact on this team since day one, the freshman has collected 2 goals and 2 assists with 6 shots on target.
