Bill Heaney joins the Dominican University baseball staff for the 2011 season. Heaney, a 2009 graduate of Benedictine University, lettered four years with the Eagles’ baseball program, including a Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) championship in 2008, before taking on the role of Head Freshman Baseball Coach at St. Rita High School on Chicago’s south side. With the Mustangs, Heaney guided the freshman squad to a 2010 Chicago Catholic League title, posting a 32-3 overall mark.
