Dylan Lidge joins the Dominican University baseball team as an assistant coach for the 2020 season. Lidge, a former all-conference shortstop at Barrington High School, currently works as an instructor at Fattfro Zone Baseball, a baseball training facility located in Barrington. Additionally, Lidge serves as a roving instructor for Playball USA, teaching the biomechanics of throwing, hitting and fielding.
While a student at the University of Illinois, Lidge was an assistant coach and starting shortstop for the Illini Club Baseball Team. Academically, Lidge received his B.S. in Kinesiology from Illinois, a degree he continues to use as he designs workouts for high school aged student-athletes he works with at GrandeFit.
