Dominican University Athletics

Zak Worsley was added to the university's full-time staff in September 2018 as the assistant coordinator of athletics events and student-workers and assistant baseball coach.  Worsley comes to Dominican with previous NCAA Division III baseball coaching experience, most recently serving as an assistant coach at Washington and Jefferson College in Pennsylvania during the 2018 season after two seasons at North Park University as a graduate assistant.
 
At Washington and Jefferson last, Worsley helped the Presidents to the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) regular season title and championship round of the PAC tournament, going 28-16-1 on the year and 16-2 in conference play. 
 
An outfielder by trade, Worsley starred for the North Park University Vikings from 2011-2015 as a collegiate player, earning an ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove in 2015 and the North Park University Male Athlete of the Year honor for the 2014-2015 academic year.  A two-time All-CCIW selection, Worsley ranks first all-time at North Park in games played and outfield putouts and is top ten in hits, at-bats, runs scored, stolen bases, walks and HBPs.
 
With Dominican, Worsley will serve as the recruiting coordinator of the baseball program and serve as the team's hitting coach while defensively working with the outfielders.
