Mike Chwistek is back in 2025 with the Stars men's soccer program after spending time as the head men's and women's soccer coach at Rockford University.
While on coach Baumann's staff in 2019, he was involved in multiple facets of the program with the Stars, including recruiting and helping implement training sessions. In the 2019 season with Chwistek, the Stars went 16-3-3, including an undefeated 10-0-1 mark in NACC play, and won both the NACC regular season and tournament titles. The Stars then qualified for the NCAA National Tournament, losing in the first round.
Prior to his time at Dominican in 2019, Chwistek spent three years as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Judson University. The Eagles went 23-16-3 over that span, including earning a berth in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Tournament. Chwistek's coaching career comes with a plethora of coaching experience at the club, ODP, junior college, NAIA and NCAA DIII levels.
