Rob Samp joined the Dominican University men’s volleyball as an assistant coach for the 2020 season.

Samp comes to Dominican from Ohio Wesleyan where he spent the 2017 and 2018 season as an assistant coach with the Battling Bishops. Prior to OWU, Samp served as a graduate assistant coach at Quincy University for three years. He also has youth coaching experience at the U-17 level and at the high school level in the Chicagoland suburbs. A 2013 graduate of Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne, Samp was a two-time academic all-conference selection for the Mastodons and was a team captain his senior year. He majored in psychology at IPFW and continued his education by earning a master's degree in communication from Quincy.
