Randel a native of Streamwood, Illinois, is in his second year servicing as Director of Athletic Communications at Dominican.
Christopher Randel began his career in athletic communications during his senior year at Dominican, serving as a student intern with the sports information staff, where he developed experience in photography, video production, and website management.
Following graduation, Randel become the Athletic Department's first Graduate Assistant for the Sports Information Department. In that role, he gained experience writing stories, creating graphics, serving as a public address announcer, broadcasting, and supporting various communications efforts for Dominican Athletics.
Beyond his communications responsibilities, Randel is a member of the Dominican University Softball staff, currently in his second season as an assistant softball coach.
Randel earned his bachelor's degree in Marketing from Dominican in 2022 and completed his Masters of Business Administration at Dominican in 2024.
