Shawn Jarmuz

Shawn Jarmuz returns for his second season as an assistant coach for the Stars softball team.

Jarmuz joined the Starts coaching staff after serving as head coach at Alverno College for three years. He also had a five year stint as an assistant coach for the Carroll University baseball team.

At Carroll, Jarmuz helped lead the Pioneers to national rankings in four offensive categories including fourth in the nation in home runs, seventh in slugging percentage, 13th in batting average, and 21st in runs scored. Jarmuz also coached the 1997 Wisconsin 18U AAU State Championship Team.

Jarmuz previously owned Hard Work Gets Me Hits!, a softball and baseball training facility in Joliet, Illinois. While there he was responsible for all aspects of the game including hitting, pitching, catching, throwing and defensive efforts.

Jarmuz played collegiate baseball at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, before graduating with his Bachelor’s Degree in 1998. He later went on to receive his Master’s Degree from Concordia Wisconsin in 2003.
