Tiffany Potthast joined the Dominican University softball program as an assistant coach prior to the 2020 season.

Potthast comes to Dominican after spending three seasons as an assistant coach at her alma mater, Elmhurst College. During her tenure at Elmhurst, Potthast doubled as the athletic admission counselor, helping the college bring in 200+ student-athletes each year. As a collegiate student-athlete, Potthast posted a career 27-21 record in the circle for the Bluejays with 109 career strikeouts. At the plate, Potthast logged a career .309 batting average with 30 doubles, nine triples and 86 runs batted in.
