Maryam Wilcher joined the Stars' coaching staff ahead of the 2023-2024 season as an assistant coach.
Wilcher, a Chicago Illinois native, comes to Dominican with prior coaching and playing experience. Wilcher competed at the Division I level having played at Indiana State then completing her career at St. Edward’s University. After her playing days, Wilcher started her coaching career at Western New Mexico University as a graduate assistant coach and received her master's degree in educational leadership. During her time at WNMU, Wilcher assisted with workouts, scouting, travel/transportation, as well as coordinating academic progress and social media accounts.
