Justin Cousin, a former standout on the St. Xavier University men’s volleyball team from 2010-2014, joins head coach Jeanne Czipri’s staff as an assistant coach for the 2016 season. Upon his 2014 graduation from St. Xavier, Cousin continued his playing career professionally, playing for VC Duvel Puurs in Belgium before returning to the Chicagoland area.
As a coach, Cousin is making a jump to the collegiate ranks after coaching both club and high school. In 2015, Cousin spent the season on the sideline at Walter Payton High School in addition to his role with Chicago Elite Volleyball where he coached both the 16-1s and 18s.
