Lisa Dobie

Lisa Dobie returns for her second season with the Dominican University women’s volleyball under second-year head coach Jeanne Czipri.  A 2008 graduate of Winona State University, Dobie was a four-year starter for the Warriors, earning all-conference honors as a senior in 2007 and academic all-conference honors in 2005, 2006 and 2007.  Dobie finished her career at Winona State as the Warriors all-time leader in assists (5,031) and holds the Warriors’ single-season records in assists (1,384, 2005) and assists per set (11.83, 2007).
 
As a coach, Dobie possesses over a decade of experience.  Dobie’s coaching resume includes her current position at The Edge Volleyball Club in Des Plaines where she serves as marketing director, assistant club director and coach.  Additionally, Dobie has coached at Willowbrook High School and Cochrane-Fountain City High School.
 
With Dobie primarily working with the Stars’ setters In 2014, Dominican University led the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) in assists and assists per set with setter Christina Wilson finishing second in the country at 11.11 assists per set.  For her efforts, Wilson was named the NACC Player of the Year and received honorable mention for the AVCA All-Midwest Region Team.
