Nate Jones is back for his second season with the Dominican University women’s volleyball team as an assistant coach. A 2010 graduate of Indiana University, Jones played three seasons with the Hoosiers’ men’s club volleyball team and served three years as a practice player and volunteer assistant coach with the IU women’s volleyball team.
After graduation, Jones joined the Extreme Volleyball Professionals (EVP) Tour, California Beach Volleyball Association (CBVA), Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) Next Tour, and USAV, competing in open level beach tournaments while training and mentoring younger athletes transitioning from indoor to sand volleyball.
In addition to his experience with the Stars, Jones has previous coaching experience at Bloomington North High School where he served as an assistant coach from 2008 to 2010 and has more than five years of experience as a coach/instructor with the Indiana University and Purdue University summer camps.
