Leo Elizalde (Waukegan, Ill.) each added a goal while
Lio Tovar (Cicero, Ill.) scored a pair of goals just 97 seconds apart in the 79
th minute and 81

The Stars dominated the stat sheet, peppering the Regent goal with 36 shots, putting 16 on frame, while not surrendering a single shot to Rockford.
Dominican is now unbeaten in 52 regular season NAC matches all-time, dating back to the conference’s inception in 2006. During that span the Stars are 50-0-2 against the rest of the NAC, outscoring their NAC foes 255-12. Dominican has won all five NAC regular season titles and will look to win their fifth NAC Tournament crown in as many years when the 2010 NAC Men’s Soccer Tournament kicks off on Sunday. The Stars will receive a first-round bye and then host a tournament semifinal match on Tuesday afternoon.
