Box Score Five different players tallied goals for the Stars as Dominican cruised to a 5-nil win over the Marian University Sabres to improve to 9-1-0 overall and 4-0-0 in Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) men’s soccer action.

Edwin Lagunas (Waukegan, Ill.) jumpstarted the offense in the 20^th minute, just two minutes after entering the match, notching his fourth goal of the season.  The goal would prove to be the game-winner as sophomore goalkeeper Dan Cimicata (St. Louis, Mo.) picked up his third shutout of the season and lowered his goals against average to 0.62.
 
Logan Marvin (Johnston, Iowa), Lio Tovar (Cicero, Ill.), Ryan Ybarra (Des Plaines, Ill.) and Enzo Berrini (Bolingbrook, Ill.) rounded out the Stars’ scoring.  Berrini’s goal was the first of the season for the sophomore while Marvin leads the Stars’ balanced offensive attack with six goals with Tovar and Ybarra right behind with five goals apiece.
 
Dominican ripped 31 shots on the afternoon, putting 16 on frame, both season highs for the Stars while surrendering just six shots, none on goal, to the Sabres.
 
With the win, Dominican improves to 54-0-2 in NAC play all-time.
 
The Stars continue play on Wednesday when they travel to Lisle, Ill., to take on the Benedictine University Eagles.  The Stars then travel to Sheboygan, Wis., to take on the Lakeland College Muskies on Saturday before returning home to take on the Loras College Duhawks on Sunday, October 9.
