The Dominican University women's tennis team fell to the Edgewood College Eagles 5-0 on Friday afternoon in the semifinal round of the 2011 Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Women's Tennis Tournament.  The loss closes out the season for the Stars, who wrap up play with a 7-11 overall record.

Dominican lost all three flights in doubles play, with Elizabeth Nelson (Riverside, Ill.) and Rachel Taddy (Cary, Ill.) falling at number one doubles by an 8-4 count.  The Stars then fell at the fifth and sixth singles flights to close out the first to five match.

Edgewood advances to the NAC Tournament Championship match where they will meet the Benedictine University Eagles with the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III National Tournament at stake.
