Box Score The Dominican University women’s soccer team moved its unbeaten streak to five matches on Saturday afternoon with a 6-0 win over the Maranatha Baptist Bible College Crusaders in Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) action.
After scoring the first two goals of the match to give the Stars a 2-0 lead at halftime,
Ashley Meyer (Evanston, Ill.) assisted on the Stars’ next three goals to pick up seven points on the afternoon. Meyer now has a team-high 22 points on the season with eight goals and six assists.

Jessica Rosales (Schaumburg, Ill.),
Trisha Neidlinger (Plymouth, Ind.) and
Gabriela Cossyleon (Chicago, Ill.) all tallied goals for the Stars in the winning effort.
Dominican dominated the stat sheet, pelting the Crusaders with 20 shots, compared to just two shots for Maranatha Baptist.

Megan Schulz (Redford, Mich.) picked up the win in goal for the Stars, saving both shots she faced on the afternoon for her second shutout of the season.
The Stars, now 4-3-1 overall and 3-0-1 in the NAC, will return to action on Sunday afternoon, hosting the Webster University Gorlocks for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff on Dominican’s West Campus Field.
