Box Score The Dominican University men’s soccer team was forced to play from behind for the first time in Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) action this season as MSOE’s Drew Porter snapped a stretch of 793 consecutive shutout minutes for the Stars with his goal in the 24
th minute of Dominican’s 2-1 win over the MSOE Raiders on Saturday night.

Ryan Roberts (Elmhurst, Ill.) netted the equalizer just seven minutes later, his team-leading tenth goal of the season for the Stars.

Mitch Corsten (Bloomingdale, Ill.) gave the Stars the lead with his second goal of the season.
Corsten’s tally proved to be the game-winner as the Dominican defense allowed just one shot the rest of the way.
The win improves the Stars to 11-1-1 on the season and an unblemished 8-0-0 in the NAC. The Stars are now unbeaten in their last 98 conference matches dating back to October 2004. Dominican takes to the road on Monday for a non-conference tilt with the Loras College Duhawks at the Rock Bowl in Dubuque, Iowa.
