Box Score Kelly Iovino (Mt. Prospect, Ill.) scored in the 13^th minute and Kelly Petty (Crystal Lake, Ill.) added two second half goals as the Dominican University women’s soccer team opened Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) play with a 3-0 win at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Tuesday night.
 
The Stars stuffed the stat sheet in the win, outshooting the Warriors 16-4 and putting nine shots on goal as compared to just one shot on frame for the Warriors.  Dominican also held an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks.
 
The win snapped a three-match losing streak for the Stars, and improved their overall record to 2-3-0 on the season.  Dominican will be back in action on Saturday, hosting the Edgewood College Eagles for a 3:30 p.m. tilt on the Stars’ West Campus Field.
