Box Score Ryan Roberts' (Elmhurst, Ill.) golden goal in the 110th minute of play pushed the Stars past the North Park University Vikings in dramatic fashion on Sunday afternoon in River Forest.  

Roberts' goal, his second of the season, broke a scoreless tie after a North Park foul, the 12th of the afternoon for the Vikings, gave Dominican a restart 25-yards out.  The Vikings were able to flick the restart attempt away, but surrendered a throw-in deep in the Viking end with time running out.  Andy Lynch's (Hawthorn Woods, Ill.) throw made its way into the center of the six-yard box where Roberts was able to get just enough of his foot on the ball to push the ball into the back of the Viking goal.

Roberts' goal was just the sixth shot of the afternoon for the Stars, as they were outshot for the second time in as many games, this time by a 16-5 count, with the Vikings putting six shots on goal to three for the Stars.

Freshman Wesley Zank (Sun Prairie, Wis.) came up big for the Stars in goal in just his second collegiate start.  The Sun Prairie native logged six saves in recording his first career shutout.

Dominican will return to action next weekend, traveling to Michigan to take on Calvin College and Hope College next Friday and Saturday.
