Box Score The Dominican University men's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to seven matches with a 5-1 victory over the Rockford University Regents on Saturday.

Alex Rohder (Orland Park, Ill.) provided bookends on the day's scoring, tallying the game's first goal in the 22nd minute and then capping his second two-goal game of the season in the 90th minute. Both scores came off of corner kicks with Rohder getting on the end of Gabriel Garcia's (Chicago, Ill.) service in the 22nd minute and Ryan Ybarra's (Des Plaines, Ill.) service in the 90th minute.

Marco Alvarez (Aurora, Ill.), Enzo Berrini (Bolingbrook, Ill.) and Ybarra each added goals for Dominican while Rockford's goal came off the Regents lone shot in the match, a free kick off the foot of Tyler Burg.

"It's disappointing that we couldn't keep a clean sheet today," said Erick Baumann, the Stars' head coach. "We've given up two goals in our last seven matches and both have been on restarts. Today's restart was due to an undisciplined foul. We've been making it tough for teams to score on us during the run of play...we can't be helping our opponents by not playing with discipline and concentration for 90 minutes."

With the win, Dominican improves to 8-4-2 overall and 6-1-1 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC). The Stars will be back in action on Wednesday, October 23, playing host to the Concordia Chicago Cougars.
