Box Score The Dominican University men’s basketball team fell in Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) action on Saturday evening, coming up on the short side of an 83-66 game with the MSOE Raiders. The Raiders shot a season-best 58.5-percent from the field in the win, going 31-for-53 from the field.
Michal Bobek (Orland Hills, Ill.) and
Taylor DeRoo (Holland, Mich.) shared team-high honors for the Stars with 15 points apiece.
Logan Harris (Pleasant Plains, Ill.) added 13 and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds while
Anthony Keener (Carol Stream, Ill.) reached double-figures for the 18
th time this season with 11 points despite just 3-for-10 shooting from the field.
The Raiders, who outscored the Stars in points in the paint 48-30, were paced by Austin Stueck’s game-high 18 points on 8-for-12 shooting. Victor Bande added 12 while Jeremiah Erdmann dropped in 11 on 5-for-7 shooting from the field.
The loss is the third straight for the Stars after a season-best five-game win streak and drops Dominican to 9-13 on the season and 7-7 in the NAC. The Stars will look to get back on track when they return to the hardwood on Wednesday night, traveling to Concordia University Chicago for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff.
