The visiting Elmhurst College Bluejays spoiled Dominican University's Rebecca Morgan's coaching debut, knocking off the Stars 9-0 in women's tennis action on Thursday evening.
 
The Bluejays swept through the doubles action, taking the number one doubles flight 8-2 and two and three doubles both by a score of 8-3.  In singles action, Dominican University freshman Natalie Bestler (Hinsdale, Ill.) tried to squeak out a point at number four singles, taking the first set 6-3 before falling 7-5 in set two and 10-7 in a third-set tiebreaker.
 
Dominican will return to action on Saturday, traveling north to open Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play.  The Stars will start the day in Fond du Lac, Wis., to take on the Marian University Sabres at 10:00 a.m. and then travel to Sheboygan, Wis., to square off against the Lakeland College Muskies.
