Box Score The Dominican University men's soccer team got back in the win column on Saturday afternoon, looking to start a new conference winning streak, with a 1-0 win on the road at Marian University in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) action on Saturday afternoon.

Senior Enzo Berrini (Bolingbrook, Ill.) snapped a scoreless tie in the 77^th minute, floating a shot from 15 yards out inside the right upper-90.

Dominican's defense made sure the late goal stood up, allowing just one blocked shot the rest of the way as Gabriel Gongora faced just four shots on the afternoon, logging one save to pick up his second shutout of the season.

"The conditions were tough for both teams," said Stars' head coach Erick Baumann. "A slow field and high winds made it difficult to go forward but in the end it was a shutout victory in conference—a step in the direction we want to go."

The Stars outshot the Sabres 14-4 on the afternoon, putting four shots on frame while allowing just one shot on goal for Marian. The Stars also outcornered Marian, 10-2.

The win pushes the Stars back to .500 on the season at 4-4-0 and 2-1-0 in the NACC. Dominican will be back in action on the Stars' home pitch on Tuesday, hosting the Aurora University Spartans for a 4:00 p.m. kickoff.
