The Dominican University men's basketball team dropped a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) matchup with the Lakeland College Muskies, 86-64, on Saturday evening in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

The Stars shot an even 50 percent from the field but committed a season-high 27 turnovers that lead to 38 points off of turnovers for the Muskies.

Rich Bodee (Darien, Ill.) scored a team-high 16 points for the Stars, shooting 6-for-12 from the field, including 3-for-7 from three. The 6'5 sophomore forward added a team-high eight rebounds in his first start of the season.

Denny Derick led four Muskies in double-figures scoring with 18 points.

The loss drops Dominican to 0-7 overall and 0-4 in the NACC. The Stars return home to host the Aurora University Spartans on Wednesday. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the Igini Sports Forum.
