The Dominican University women's basketball team fell in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to the Lakeland College Muskies, 72-42, in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) action on Saturday afternoon.

Dominican shot just 18.8 percent from the field but got season-highs from
Allie Tapanes (Winfield, Ill.) and
Danielle McGruder (Plano, Texas) in the losing effort. Tapanes, working back from injury, scored 12 points in her fifth game of the year while McGruder dropped in 11 points, converting on all seven of her attempts from the free throw line.

The Muskies, led by Bailey Grayvold's 13 points, shot 42.6 percent from the field. Grayvold was a perfect 5-for-5 from the field, including 2-for-2 from three, in 26 minutes of work.

The loss drops Dominican to 0-7 on the season and 0-3 in the NACC. The Stars will return to the court on Tuesday, traveling to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to take on the Alverno College Inferno.
