Box Score The Dominican University women's soccer team failed to find the back of the net in a 3-0 loss at the hands of the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks on Friday night.
 
The Stars fired ten shots, the same as the host Scarlet Hawks, putting four on goal and out-cornered IIT 6-2 but it was three second half goals that plagued the Stars in their second loss in as many games.
 
After a historic three-match winning streak to open the 2014 season, the Stars now stand at 3-2-0 on the season heading into a Tuesday matchup at Lake Forest.  Kickoff is slated for 4:30 p.m. in the Stars final tune-up prior to opening Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play on Saturday, September 20, at Concordia Wisconsin.
