Box Score 2 The Dominican University women's volleyball team split a pair of matches to close out the Pizza Hut Classic hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, topping the Ripon College Redhawks in three sets in the morning before falling to the host Titans in the afternoon.

Caitlen Foote (Dexter, Mich.) paced a Stars' offense that hit .393 in the win against the Redhawks, collecting a match-high 12 kills on just 19 swings while committing just one error. The Stars' junior outside hitter added three service aces and a pair of solo blocks to finish with 17 points in the match. Foote added to the all-around effort with a match-high ten digs for her third double-double effort of the tournament.

Christina Wilson (Homer Glen, Ill.) doled out 41 assists in the winning effort and was perfect with four kills on just four attack attempts. Freshman
Kendyl Todd (Crete, Ill.) added nine kills on 14 attempts.

In the loss to the Titans, Foote continued to shine, posting her fourth double-double with 11 kills and 11 digs to earn All-Tournament Team honors.

The Stars, now 5-5 on the season, open Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) action on Tuesday, traveling to Aurora University to take on the Spartans at 7:00 p.m.
