The Dominican University women's basketball team fell behind 13-0 over the first 4:35 of Saturday's matchup with the Lakeland College Muskies and the Stars never recovered in a 70-41 loss in the Igini Sports Forum.
 
Claudia DeNigris (Addison, Ill.) paced the Stars, scoring 14 points in the losing effort but Dominican managed to shoot just 28 percent (14-50) from the field, including going just 2-for-16 from three-point distance.
 
Bailey Grayvold led the Muskies, scoring 17 points in 24 minutes.  Grayvold went 5-for-10 from the field and converted a perfect 6-of-6 from the foul line.
 
The Stars, now 1-13 on the season, return to the court on Wednesday night, traveling up to Mequon, Wisconsin, to take on the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons.  Tipoff is slated for 7:00 p.m.
