The Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons used a 23-6 run to close out the first half, taking a 34-17 lead over the Dominican University women's basketball team at the half and cruised in the second half, handing the Stars a 66-46 loss to drop Dominican to 1-14 on the season and 0-10 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC).

Sidney Montano (Bensenville, Ill.) and
Shamia Clark (Rock Island, Ill.) paced the Stars with 15 and 12 points respectively as Dominican shot 37 percent (17-46) from the field but turned the ball over 24 times, leading to 30 points for the Falcons.

Dominican will be back in action on Saturday, taking on the NACC-leading Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors in Milwaukee. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
