The Dominican University women's basketball team faced the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) leading Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors, falling 79-48 to drop to 1-15 on the year and 0-11 in the NACC.

The Stars outrebounded the Warriors 44-37, including grabbing 21 offensive rebounds, but Dominican shot just 27 percent from the field (18-65).

For the second straight game, Sidney Montano led the way for the Stars, scoring 12 points on 4-for-18 shooting from the field. Allie Tapanes added 11 points in the losing effort.

The Warriors were paced by Maggie Gartner's 21 points while center Kristen Schulz logged a triple-double with 13 points, ten rebounds and ten blocks.

Dominican returns to action on Tuesday, traveling to Rockford to take on the Rockford University Regents. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
