The Dominican University women's basketball team was bested by the Aurora University Spartans on Wednesday night, falling 67-43 to the host Spartans.
Dominican could not stop Shannon Koski as the Spartans' junior poured in 25 points on 8-for-9 shooting from the field and going a perfect 6-for-6 from the foul line.
As a team, the Spartans shot better than 41 percent (26-62) from the field while the Stars managed to convert at just a 30 percent (17-55) clip led by Jasmyn Hardin and Angela Evola who scored 13 and ten points respectively. Evola added 11 boards for her first career double-double effort.
Dominican, now 1-18 on the season, returns to action on Saturday, traveling to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, to take on the Marian University Sabres in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action.Â
