The Dominican University women's volleyball team swept through Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, on Saturday afternoon, upending the host Marian University Sabres in three sets (25-17, 25-16, 25-16) to move to 16-7 on the year and 4-1 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC).
"It was great to see us execute some of the things we worked on this week," commented Dominican's second-year head coach
Jeanne Czipri. Â "Our outsides did a great job with their decision making today and it showed in their hitting percentages. Â Our blocking, as well, is starting to improve, making us stronger defensively."

Rosalyn Wyse (Greenville, Mich.) paced the Stars' offense with 13 kills on just 23 swings, hitting .435 for the match.

For the match, Dominican hit .226, including .385 in the match-clinching third set, while holding the Sabres to a -.104 hitting percentage with just 16 kills to 27 errors on 106 total attacks.

Defensively, the Stars posted nine total blocks and collected 54 digs.Â
Tessa Griparis (Belleair, Fla.) led the charge at the net with four block assists and one solo block while
Caitlen Foote (Dexter, Mich.) collected a match-high 14 digs and
Christina Wilson (Homer Glen, Ill.) tallied ten digs to go along with her 32 assists for her 17
th double-double of the season and sixth double-double effort in a row.
