Stars Impressive In Sweep Of Spartans

The Dominican University women's volleyball team swept the Aurora University Spartans (25-10, 25-16, 25-19) in the Igini Sports Forum on Tuesday night.  Junior Rosalyn Wyse (Greenville, Mich.) knocked down a match-high 16 kills to lead the Stars to their 20th win of the season, their seventh 20-win season in a row.

"It means that we are really hard working and trust in each other," commented Wyse when asked what reaching 20 wins meant to the program.  "We all believe in this program to take us to the next level as volleyball players."

Dominican set the tone in the first set, hitting .367 as a team behind eight kills from Wyse in the opening set while the Spartans could not get going offensively, hitting -.172 with seven errors in the opening set.
