The Dominican University women's soccer team stuffed the stat sheet on Wednesday afternoon, posting a dominant 13-0 win over the visiting Alverno College Inferno at West Campus Field.

Kelli Iovino (Arlington Heights, Ill.) led Dominican's offensive outburst, netting four goals and three assists to up her season totals to 13 goals and 30 points. The junior tallied her first three goals in a span of three minutes and 28 seconds, the sixth fastest consecutive three goals by the same player in NCAA Division III women's soccer history.

Taylor Adler (Shorewood, Ill.),
Alyssa Messina (Elgin, Ill.) and
Alexis Mondragon (Chicago, Ill.) each tallied two goals apiece while
Vivien Ponce (Melrose Park, Ill.) rounded out the scoring with her first goal of the season.

Dominican controlled possession throughout the match, peppering the Alverno goal with 44 shots while not surrendering a single shot to the Inferno to post their fifth clean sheet of the season. Freshman goalkeeper
Pamela Ruiz (Dallas, Texas) was credited with the win, improving to 6-2-0 on the season and lowering her goals against average for her rookie campaign to 0.82.

Heading into a matchup with perennial Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) champions, the Aurora University Spartans on Saturday, the Stars stand at 7-4-0 overall and a perfect 5-0-0 in conference action. Saturday's kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at the Spartans' Vago Field.
