The Dominican University women's basketball team was tripped up in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) road action on Saturday evening, falling to the MSOE Raiders 68-36 in Milwaukee.
Â
Sophomore
Jasmyn Hardin (Cincinnati, Ohio) scored a team-high 11 points on 5-for-9 shooting but the Stars shot just 23-percent from the field while the Raiders shot 36-percent in leading wire-to-wire.
Â
"MSOE beat us in every aspect of the game," commented Dominican's
Gabby Johnson following the game. "It's hard to beat a team of their caliber while making key mistakes. We showed some promise at times but never pulled it all together."
Â
The Stars, now 1-8 on the season, will host their neighborhood rivals, the Concordia Chicago Cougars, on Saturday afternoon in the Igini Sports Forum. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.Â
