On the heels of a four-match winning streak, the Dominican University men's volleyball team dropped its second straight match on Wednesday night, falling in three sets to the #15 MSOE Raiders, 25-17, 26-24, 25-17.

Dominican's offensive attack managed to hit just .160 in the losing effort with 32 kills to 17 errors on 94 total attacks. Across the net, the Raiders hit .363 with Nick Manning and Bryant Holland leading the way with 15 and ten kills respectively.

Luke Spicer (St. Charles, Ill.) paced the Stars, knocking down nine kills on 26 swings while
Jeremy Royko (Naperville, Ill.) and
Robert Mead (Darien, Ill.) added seven kills apiece. Â Royko also collected a team-high 11 digs.

The Stars are now 11-9 overall and 6-3 in the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL). They will look to avoid their second three-match losing streak on Friday when they travel to Fontbonne to take on the Griffins in a 7:00 p.m. match in MCVL action.Â
