The Dominican University women's tennis team saw the 2014-2015 season come to a close on Tuesday evening, falling to the Benedictine University Eagles, 5-2, in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Tournament.
 
The Stars trailed 2-1 after doubles action, taking just the number three doubles flight where Kaylee Paciora (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and Sarah Givens (Navarre, Fla.) combined for an 8-5 victory over the Eagles' Elizabeth Skaggs and Lordina Odei.  The Stars then managed just a singles victory at the number four singles flight where Morganne Schmidt (West Dundee, Ill.) cruised over Odei in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.
 
The Stars close out the season with an overall mark of 7-10, going 4-4 in NACC play.
