In a game that featured seven early lead changes and ten ties, the Stars used a 14-8 run over the final four minutes of the first half to open a six-point, 43-37, lead at the break and never trailed the rest of the night.

Dominican shot 43-percent from the field (29-66) despite converting on just five of 24 attempts from three-point distance while the Cougars managed to shoot at a 35-percent clip from the filed (26-73).  The Stars also dominated the glass, outrebounding Concordia Chicago 52-34.

Mayberry led the way with a team-high 32 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the field while Robertson chipped in 25 as the Stars put four in double-figures scoring.  Freshman Domenic Aiello (Franklin Park, Ill.) scored a career-high 11 points while Rich Bodee (Darien, Ill.) shot 5-for-11 from the field to drop in 12 points on the night.  Robertson, who had a double-double in the first half, added a career-high 16 rebounds while Mayberry rounded out his double-double with 12 boards of his own.

For the Cougars, Mike Wallmer paced the offense with a game-high 34 points.  The junior guard shot 9-for-20 from the field and converted on 14 of 16 attempts from the foul line.
