Dominican University junior guard Josh Mayberry (Canton, Mich.) became the 17^th member of the Dominican University men's basketball 1,000-Point Club on Thursday evening, dropping in 22 points in a 96-79 loss at Aurora University to reach 1,005 points in his 61^st career game.
 
A 2015 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) All-Conference Honorable Mention selection and 2014 NACC All-Freshman Team member, Mayberry has upped his game during his junior season, increasing his points per game by six points from his career average entering the season and raising his career shooting percentage nearly ten points to 48 percent from the field and from three.  The Canton, Michigan, native has scored 30-plus points four times in his collegiate career, including three 30-point performances this season.
 
The Stars, now 2-11 on the season and 1-8 in the NACC, will return to action on Saturday, hosting the Marian University Sabres for a 2:00 p.m. tipoff in the Igini Sports Forum.
