Tim Robertson (Chicago, Ill.) equaled his career high with 31 points on 12-for-23 shooting from the field but it was not enough for the Stars' men's basketball team, suffering an 89-72 setback to the Lakeland College Muskies in the Igini Sports Forum on Saturday afternoon.
With the Stars trailing by just two, 62-60, with just under 11 minutes to play, the Muskies went on a 10-2 run to open a double-digit lead and never looked back.
Dominican shot an even 40-percent in the loss, 28-for-70, but connected on just five of their 23 attempts from beyond the three-point stripe while Lakeland connected at 61-percent clip from the field, 39-for-59, and was 4-for-11 from three. Travis Kell led four in double figures for theMuskies with a team-high 26. Tanner Hackl added 18 while Pat McDonald and Brandon Hagenow chipped in 14 apiece.

Josh Mayberry (Canton, Mich.) dropped in ten points, shooting 4-for-10 while freshman Charlie Ollis followed up a career night on Wednesday with nine in the losing effort.
The Stars, now 1-10 on the season and 0-7 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC), will host the Concordia University Chicago Cougars on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
