The Dominican University women's basketball team dropped their third straight, falling to the Albion College Britons, 68-28, on Tuesday evening in Albion, Michigan.

"Sometimes losses tell you more about you and your team than the wins do," said
Gabby Johnson following the Stars' loss. "We have to remember that and stay the course."

Dominican managed to shoot just 23-percent in the loss, with freshman
Timiya Ray scoring a team-high eight points on 4-for-12 shooting. Ray added nine rebounds as the rookie paced the Stars in scoring and rebounding for the third time in four games.

For the Britons, Tierra Orban led the way with 15 points off the bench. Orban shot 6-for-9 from the field, including knocking down both her attempts from beyond the three-point stripe. Oreyana Curry added ten points while Evelyn Wischmeyer added nine points and a team-high six rebounds.

Dominican, now 1-3, has ten days to prepare for their Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) opener at Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday, December 3.Â
