The Dominican University softball team dropped a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) doubleheader on Tuesday evening, falling to the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons by counts of 2-1 and 11-6.
The twinbill loss drops the Stars to 19-11 overall and 9-5 in the NACC. Dominican will return to the diamond on Saturday, traveling up to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to take on the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.

The Falcons handed Dominican University freshman
Sydney Kuderna (Naperville, Ill.) her first loss of the season with a two-run rally in the bottom of the sixth to take a 2-1 win.
The Stars broke a scoreless tie in the top of the sixth when
Marissa Burns (Shorewood, Ill.) ripped a one-out double down the left field line and scored an out later when
Alyssa Domico (Naperville, Ill.) singled to left for her 26
th RBI of the season.
The Falcons, just four hits through the first five innings, strung together three hits to start the bottom of the sixth, including an RBI single by Deidra Weinberger that scored Maddie Zazas. After a walk loaded the bases, Christine Sharon bounced into a fielder's choice, allowing Delaney O'Keefe to score what proved to be the winning run.
Kuderna escaped further damage in the inning, inducing a popout and a groundout.
In the seventh, Dominican went down in order as the Stars tallied just five hits all game.
Kuderna, now 9-1 on the season, surrendered just the two earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out three over six innings.
Offensively, Domico went 2-for-3 at the plate while Burns logged the Stars' lone extra-base hit.
Game Two: Concordia Wisconsin 11, Dominican 6
Riding the momentum from the game one win, the Falcons roughed up
Haley Locher (Lisle, Ill.) in the bottom of the first of game two, roping five runs on four hits and two walks over one-third of an inning.
The Stars cut the lead to 6-5 with a three-run fourth, but the Falcons responded with a run in the bottom of the fifth and then pushed across four runs in the bottom of the sixth to put the game out of reach.
Dominican did manage ten hits in the losing effort, including two apiece for Burns,
Sara Hausl (St. Charles, Ill.) and
Gabi Alfaro (Aurora, Ill.) who had a pair of doubles.
