The Dominican University women's tennis team strayed from Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play on Tuesday evening, hosting the North Park University Vikings in non-conference action with the Stars falling 5-4 to slip to 1-4 on the season.

Heidi Carvagal led the Dominican comeback effort, topping the Vikings Juviel Vinluan at number four singles, 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 as the Stars swept the final three singles flights. Classmate
Bridget Garner took the fifth singles flight 6-1, 6-2 while
Gabby Curran disposed of Katie Chleboun in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0, at six singles.
