The Dominican University women's volleyball team picked up their third straight win on Tuesday night, topping the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks in four sets (25-23, 25-21, 18-25, 25-20) to move to 11-9 on the season.

Anastasia Labadessa, the Stars hit .171 in the winning effort. Labadessa doled out 32 assists while collecting seven kills of her own, hitting .375 on the night. Senior
Alex Kisten knocked down a team-high 11 kills on 26 swings without committing an error to lead the attack.

Defensively, Dominican collected 70 digs to hold the Scarlet Hawks to a .128 attack percentage. Freshman
Gillian Jones led three Stars in double-digit digs with 16.Â
Megan Parker added 13 digs while Lauren LaVigne# collected 12 digs of her own in the winning effort.

For the Scarlet Hawks, Sara Hassell knocked down a match-high 16 kills in the losing effort.

The Stars return to Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play on Friday, hosting the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons for a 7:00 p.m. match in the Igini Sports Forum.
