The Dominican University men's basketball team returned to action on Saturday, falling to the Benedictine University Eagles, 86-67, in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play. The loss drops the Stars to 3-7 on the season and 1-5 NACC play.
Tim Roberson led the way for the Stars in the loss, dropping in a game-high 26 points on 8-for-19 shooting. The effort was the third straight 20-plus point performance for the senior, upping his scoring average to 15.4 points per game on the season.
Isaac Moore and
Antonio Amoah both came off the bench to add 12 and 11 points respectively.
For the Eagles, Brayden Olsen led four in double figures scoring with 23 points on 8-for-21 shooting from the field.
The Stars return to action on Wednesday, hosting the Concordia University Chicago Cougars in a River Forest Rivalry contest at the Igini Sports Forum. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
