The Dominican University men's basketball team could not keep pace with the Lakeland University Muskies on Tuesday night in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, falling 97-68 to drop to 4-13 on the season and 2-11 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC).

Lakeland shot better than 56-percent from the field in scoring 53 first half points, opening a 53-39 lead. The Muskies connected on nine of 15 attempts from beyond the three-point stripe in the opening half and finished 14-for-28 from three on the game.

Tim Robertson led the Stars in the loss, dropping in 16 points on 5-for-14 shooting from the field.Â

Isaac Moore added ten points apiece but as a team, Dominican managed to shoot just 38-percent (23-60) from the field for the game.

For the Muskies, Carlos Campos led five in double-figures with a game-high 19 points. Campos shot 5-for-10 from the field, including 4-for-5 from three. Zach Hasenstein added 15 points while Shakur Jinad and Pat McDonald scored 14 points each.

The Stars will look to snap their six-game losing streak on Thursday when the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors visit Dominican's Igini Sports Forum for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff.
