The Dominican University men's basketball team dropped to 5-19 on the season and 3-16 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) with an 81-63 loss to the Aurora University Spartans on the road Wednesday night.  The Stars' Tim Robertson and Jonny Woolf combined to score 44 points in the losing effort.
 
Dominican shot better than 46-percent from the field, 25-for-54, and converted on nine of 14 attempts from the foul line but the Spartans shot better than 52-percent from the field, 32-for-61, including 7-for-19 from three.
 
For Dominican, Domenic Aiello came off the bench, scoring 13 points to join Robertson and Woolf in double-figures.  Robertson finished with 24 points on 10-for-19 shooting while Woolf added 20 points, going 9-for-15 from the field.
 
For the Spartans, Max Vickers led the way with a game-high 29 points while Marcus Myers and Matt Dunn added 25 and 12 respectively.
 
The Stars close out the 2017-2018 season on Saturday, hosting the Rockford University Regents for a 2:00 p.m. tipoff at the Igini Sports Forum.
