The Dominican University women's volleyball team swept through the Eureka College Red Devils (25-17, 25-17, 25-23) on Tuesday night in non-conference action to improve to 12-4 on the season. The Stars return to Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play this weekend, traveling to Madison, Wisconsin, to take on the Edgewood College Eagles on Friday night before heading to Rockford, Illinois, for a matchup with the Rockford University Regents on Saturday.
"We put together a solid match tonight," commented
Cameron Andrew, the Stars' head women's volleyball coach. "Truly a team win with everyone contributing to our success. We've been focusing on maintaining discipline throughout the entire match and I thought we did a better job of that tonight despite a little dip in the third set. However, we recovered and were able to regain that discipline and close out the match. Now we need to carry that over into a key conference match at Edgewood Friday night."
