The Dominican University women's basketball team never trailed in a 66-38 win over the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks on the road Saturday evening. With the win, the Stars improve to 15-7 on the season and 11-6 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC). The Stars return to action on Tuesday, hosting the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff at the Igini Sports Forum.
"We were extremely inconsistent throughout the game today," said
Amanda Parker, the Stars' second-year head coach. "We are not connecting great on either end. We must be more disciplined and truly focus in our last three regular season games."
